Dear Parents and Families,
Our school community would like to stand in support of our friends in Chrisman who are experiencing a tragedy. Tomorrow, we are asking students and staff to wear green as a small way to show our support, compassion, and unity during this difficult time.
Acts of kindness and solidarity remind others that they are not alone. Thank you for helping our students show care and empathy for another community.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Tiffany Huisinga

Here is your friendly reminder to complete the parent survey if you haven't already. Remember, if you have a child in elementary and Jr/Sr High, you must complete the survey for each school. Thank you! http://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/survey/parent/
Check out our March calendars!

🏫 Your Voice Matters! Help Us Grow.
We want to hear from you! The 5Essentials Survey is officially open, and your feedback is the key to making our school the best it can be.
Why should you take it?
This survey gives us a clear picture of:
Our Successes: Where are we thriving? We want to know what’s working so we can keep that momentum going!
Our Opportunities: What challenges are we facing? Your input helps us identify exactly where we need to focus our improvements.
📝 Important Note for Families:
If you have students in both Elementary and the Jr/Sr High School, please remember to take the survey twice—once for each school. This ensures we get specific feedback for every grade level!

📘 Yearbook Reminder 📘
The final day to order the 2024–2025 yearbook is this Friday, January 16. If you would like to purchase a yearbook, please be sure your order is submitted to the school office by then.
If you previously ordered yearbooks from the 2019–2020 or 2020–2021 school years, please contact the school office to arrange a refund. Unfortunately, we do not have copies of yearbooks from those years and are unable to obtain any yearbooks prior to the 2024–2025 school year.
We will begin working on the 2025–2026 yearbook in February, and those will be available for purchase at the end of this school year (May 2026). I would like to offer my sincere apology for not having yearbooks available from prior years. It is my hope that we can make this right and rebuild your trust in our ability to provide a yearbook annually for you and your family.
🩺 Health Update: Flu season is in full force. Please see the note attached from Nurse Hayley for important information. We are encouraging regular handwashing and are doing our very best to keep our school clean and healthy.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the school office.
