NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Education of Kansas Community Unit School District No. 3 will conduct a hearing on July 20 at 6:00 p.m. at the Unit Office, 310 S. Front Street, Kansas, Illinois. The purpose of the hearing will be to hear testimony from staff, parents and students concerning a waiver request to be filed with the Illinois State Board of Education, pursuant to 105 ILCS 5/2-3.25g. The waiver, if approved, would allow non-resident employees of Kansas Community Unit School District No. 3 to enroll their children in school without paying tuition, pursuant to 105 ILCS 5/10-20.12a.
