PENNY WARS ARE BACK!!!
1, 2, 3, 4! We declare a Penny War! Penny Wars is back! Elementary students need to bring in their spare change! Check your laundry! Check your sofas! Check your pockets! Each piece of money will add or subtract points for each class. Students can add to their own totals or subtract points from other classes. The class with the most points OR the most money will win an extreme prize! All funds raised will go toward elementary activities throughout the year (dances, parties, STEAM and holiday activities, etc.) Help the elementary make Penny Wars a success! Dates: October 13th – 20th.
To add points:
Pennies = +1 point
$1 bill = +100 points
$5 bill = +500 points
$10 bill = +1000 points
To subtract points :
Nickels = -5 points
Dimes = -10 points
Quarters = -25 points
